l have undertaken and completed a full-time thorough and rigorous training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy that included at least four years of intensive personal therapy, theoretical study and intense clinical supervision.
I am an experienced, professionally trained psychotherapist with many years of clinical practice. My qualifications, training and clinical experience remain unchanged. I have established and continue to develop a clinical governance framework for my independent practice, including clear arrangements for safeguarding, confidentiality, ethical practice, professional boundaries and appropriate referral.
I currently practise independently and am not registered with UKCP or another professional regulatory body. I do not currently hold professional indemnity insurance. Clients should therefore be aware that my practice does not carry the additional regulatory and insurance protections associated with registered and insured practitioners. I am devising a clinical governance policy, which will address some safeguarding issues
I remain committed to practising responsibly, ethically and within the limits of my professional competence.
Please see my Safeguarding and Professional Practice page for further information.
My professional qualifications and previous clinical experience remain unchanged.
