About James O'Shea

I worked within the Lincoln Dynamic Specialty for the last ten years as a Senior Adult Psychotherapist seeing a wide range of clients with differing problems. I took part in introductory courses within the department and ran courses on my own for psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, counsellors and other NHS employees. I ran a Balint group as well for different disciplines to learn dynamic psychotherapy principles.  I have completed a UKCP accredited training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy although I am no longer registered with the UKCP. I am no longer registered with any regulatory body and no longer hold a professional indemnity insurance. *Please read safeguarding page as I am creating a clinical governance around this*

 I have been an associate lecturer on the undergraduate psychology degree at Lincoln University. I have worked with individuals, couples and groups offering short and longer term therapy.
